Queen Lucille * Memorial for King Constantine II | On February 27, a service of thanksgiving for the life of King Constantine II of Greece was held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, the Duke of York and other members of the Greek royal family attended this special memorial service for King Constantine. Other members of other Royal Families attended the service. King Constantine, who was the last King of Greece, passed away at the age of 82 in January last year. He was also a close friend of his second cousin King George.

The annual event has been traditionally hosted in the Buckingham Palace Garden since 1921. The Not Forgotten Association is a service charity, which provides entertainment activities and recreation for ex-service men and women with disabilities or illness, and for currently serving personnel who are wounded or sick.
